The Southern Communication Journal seeks nominations (including self-nominations) and applications for the position of Editor. Candidates for this position are requested to provide the search committee with the following materials: (1) a statement by the nominee indicating a willingness to serve in accordance with SSCA publication policies; (2) an outline of editorial policies and publication philosophy he or she would follow; (3) a letter of institutional support (e.g., released time, office space, and secretarial and financial assistance); (4) three letters of support; and (5) a current curriculum vita. Materials may be submitted initially electronically, although signed hardcopies of the letters must also be sent. The successful candidate will serve three years, and may expect to receive manuscripts as early as Fall, 2007.
